The Challenge

Lake Erie Tobacco Company required a real-time tracking solution for monitoring both employee attendance and vehicle movement within their facility. The manual check-in and paper-based vehicle entry logs caused frequent inconsistencies, missed entries, and delays in report generation.

The client needed a system capable of automating attendance logging, vehicle movement detection, and entry-exit control while ensuring complete visibility across all gates. The solution also had to provide directional tracking to distinguish between inbound and outbound movement, reducing false or duplicate readings.

DreamzCMMS implemented a comprehensive Rfid-Based Tracking Solution integrated directly with the client’s existing operational workflows.

The solution covered both employees and vehicles through RFID tagging, handheld registration, and fixed antenna-based tracking.

• Automated Vehicle Tracking: Vehicle entries and exits were detected, logged, and timestamped with configurable scan intervals for accuracy.
• Comprehensive Reporting: Custom-built reports for attendance and vehicle movement allowed quick insights into hours worked, first/last entry, and movement history.
