Payment Processing FAQ

Questions about payment options, balances and payouts.

What is payment processing for field service?

It connects collecting a customer payment with the service invoice. DreamzFSM brings together on-site card payments, online payment links, ACH workflows and invoice payment records so the office and field team can follow the same collection process.

Can technicians take card payments at the job site?

Yes. A compatible mobile card reader supports chip, swipe and contactless card payments in the field. Confirm the supported reader, mobile device, provider and payment setup for your business.

Can customers pay online with a card or digital wallet?

Yes. Customers can open an invoice payment link and use the methods enabled on the hosted payment page. Cards and supported wallets are available according to the provider, device and region.

Does DreamzFSM support ACH bank transfers?

Yes. The documented ACH workflow lets your team create an invoice payment amount, generate a hosted payment link and review the resulting payment transaction. ACH must be enabled in the payment configuration.

Can I collect part of an invoice and request the rest later?

Yes. The payment workflow supports additional amounts against an invoice and the creation of another payment link. Review the recorded paid amount and remaining balance before requesting the next payment.

Can I share payment links from the mobile app?

Yes. Open an invoice in the app and use Copy SHURL to copy the payment link. Share it through email or another supported communication channel. The documented workflow also supports creating another ACH URL when needed.

Can I send automatic payment reminders and accept tips?

Payment reminders and optional tipping are listed payment capabilities. Configure unpaid-invoice follow-up and the available tipping experience to match your enabled payment workflow.

How quickly will I receive funds, and what are the processing fees?

Payout timing and fees depend on the payment method, provider, business account and region. Ask about Instapay or other expedited options available in your setup, and confirm the applicable terms before relying on a specific payout time or rate.

Is mobile check deposit available?

Mobile check deposit is listed among DreamzFSM payment options. Confirm the supported provider and account eligibility for your business. Capturing or posting a check is not a guarantee that its funds are immediately available.

Can I offer financing or payment plans for larger jobs?

Customer financing and flexible payment plans are listed options for larger projects. Availability, customer approval, repayment terms and merchant payout arrangements need to be confirmed for the enabled provider and region.

How do payments connect with QuickBooks and invoice reconciliation?

The QuickBooks integration connects invoice, customer and payment records. In DreamzFSM, finance users can select one or several checked invoices and mark them as reconciled. Reconciled rows are highlighted in yellow in the Invoice List.

How does VEDA help with the service-to-payment workflow?

VEDA and enabled DreamzCMMS AI workflows help review available service history, prepare a completion summary and create follow-up work orders. They support the service documentation behind a billing conversation; your team controls invoice amounts, payments and reconciliation.
