Nexa BPO manages a large number of IT assets—including computers, laptops, and monitors—across multiple facilities.

The existing manual and SAP-based processes lacked real-time visibility and required significant manual effort for updates.

Due to internal policies, API integration with SAP was restricted, which created challenges in automating asset updates. The company also faced difficulty in tracking unauthorized movements and potential theft of IT equipment within office premises.

Nexa BPO needed a scalable RFID-based system that would track every asset’s lifecycle — from registration to movement — and work seamlessly with its existing SAP environment without violating internal compliance rules.

The DreamzCMMS Solution

DreamzCMMS deployed a comprehensive RFID Asset Management System designed specifically for Nexa BPO’s needs.

The solution included both a web application and a handheld RFID app compatible with Chainway and Zebra devices.

It enabled Nexa’s team to:

• Register and tag all IT assets with RFID labels generated directly from the web system.
• Use Zebra printers with ZPL (.prn) files for label printing without any third-party labeling software.
• Select between two custom-designed label artworks (created in Bartender) dynamically based on the asset’s customer or department.
• Track and control asset movement using Zebra FX9600 fixed RFID readers installed at key checkpoints.
• Automatically detect unauthorized movements or potential thefts and raise system alerts in real time.
• Exchange data with SAP via structured Excel files and automated email workflows — ensuring compliance while maintaining synchronization.
