The Challenge

Motowork, a leading retailer and distributor of motorcycle parts and accessories, manages a large volume of products across multiple stores and warehouses.

The company faced difficulties in maintaining real-time synchronization between its operational system and ContaPyme ERP, which led to stock mismatches, manual data entry errors, and delays in dispatch validation.

Motowork needed a centralized solution to automate its inventory tracking, enhance operational visibility, and integrate seamlessly with its existing ContaPyme MotoWork Pruebas API for production, inventory, and order updates.

The DreamzCMMS Solution

DreamzCMMS implemented a fully integrated RFID-Based Inventory And Dispatch Management System synchronized directly with ContaPyme through secure API connectivity (https://www.contapyme.com/api/).

The solution automated every stage of Motowork’s product lifecycle — from serialization to dispatch and sales updates — ensuring accuracy and visibility across all operations.

  • ContaPyme API Integration: Configured secure API communication between DreamzCMMS and ContaPyme to synchronize products, orders, and stock updates in real time.
  • RFID Serialization: Each product was assigned a unique RFID tag during creation. Bulk serialization was supported through handheld devices, linking products to ContaPyme references for precise tracking.
  • Dispatch & Receive Workflow: Items were scanned using handheld RFID readers during dispatch and receiving. The system validated order details against ContaPyme to prevent shipment discrepancies.
  • Sales (Move Out) Automation: When an item was sold or moved out, the status was automatically updated in DreamzCMMS and synchronized with ContaPyme through API calls, ensuring live inventory accuracy.
  • Real-Time Alerts & Audit Logs: Alerts were generated for any product not matching order data, while audit logs captured each transaction for transparency and traceability.
  • Excel Import Support: S For occasional offline operations, Excel imports were enabled for batch updates that could later sync automatically to ContaPyme.

This integration gave Motowork a connected ecosystem — bridging RFID tracking, warehouse management, and ERP synchronization into one unified system.
