The food manufacturing company was having issues with their units where staff were unable to report their problems in machines due to an out-dated cumbersome old system.
The company was using outdated software to report their problems to the equipment manufacturer and maintenance service providers. With insufficient data capturing, many times their requests for maintenance were rejected. The problem was leading to a lot of unplanned downtime of equipment hampering production. To cope up with the problem they started looking for a solution for easy problem reporting and capturing images were priority.
After evaluating multiple CMMS platforms, they chose DreamzCMMS Mobile App which has an easy incident reporting facility. After going for a 30-day trial, they went on onboarding with minimal training and support.
Right after the 30-day trial period, the company expressed to onboard quickly. DreamzCMMS implementation helped them quickly import their asset register from the old system. And with provided training, their team quickly grabbed the application as it is very user-friendly and easy to use.
DreamzCMMS provided a co-branded URL for the company using which anyone within the company can report a problem they noticed and by capturing details along with pictures they can submit it for evaluation and fixing.
All the reporting will go to the supervisor and the maintenance department for verification. Then action will start for fixing the problem with a work order.
Using the DreamzCMMS mobile application on their phone, staff started reporting issues they noticed by capturing images and detailed information on the app. Maintenance supervisors would plan the work order for resolution by linking it to the manufacturer or service provider or to the internal maintenance team depending on warranty or AMC, once the problems submitted as incident tickets.
All the work orders appear on the maintenance calendar which helps them track each work order efficiently. After completion of work order, DreamzCMMS has option to capture using images, findings, solution and documenting root cause. So technician perform the inspection and update the details of completion.
With the asset register, their finance team asked if DreamzCMMS can provide asset valuation for their year-end processing. DreamzCMMS has standard depreciation methods built-in for getting asset valuation of Fixed Assets in real-time.
DreamzCMMS Implementation team incorporated Fixed Asset Accounts Groups and Sub groups and set up standard depreciation with Straight–line method.
From the reports section they would collect the asset valuation at the year end in CSV format and import where required.
